Legs, legs, legs...give me beautiful legs

OK, I think it's safe to say we'd all like to have great legs, men and women alike.  Some of the legs I've been impressed with and remember well are:  way back when at a swimming pool party in Norway, a girl (must have been a model) arrived with probably the longest and most beautiful legs I've ever seen (can't remember another thing about the girl, but have never forgotten the legs).  The other girl was a Canadian cyclist and had the biggest (most developed) thighs I've ever seen on a girl.  I was so impressed. I found them equally as beautiful as the other girls legs, just different (two completely different builds)...I think she referred to herself as quadzilla...by the way, she was winning all her bike races, which wasn't a surprise with the power packed into those legs!!!!  Eric Heiden in his day.....wow...amazing legs.  Actually any speed skaters thighs.  And, hockey players certainly can boast great legs...was very impressed with my husband Jim's legs from his hockey days, teehee.

The whole point of me raving about legs is maybe we don't have the tall and lanky build of the model or the leg development of  a cyclist, or professional skater...but each of us can have beautiful legs, nicely developed in proportion to our body.  These legs can make a hell of a splash at a pool party, or whatever activity we need them for.

Many people are very negative about their legs. They often tell me how ugly their legs are, that it's a family curse and nothing can be done about it.  If you're doing that please stop.  It's nonsense and there's no way your legs will ever get any better if you don't have a better attitude.  You've got to realize we're all different shapes and sizes (just think of dogs in different classes...working dogs, toy dogs, etc.etc....it wouldn't make sense for a Great Dane (beautiful big dog) to have the legs of a toy poodle for instance).

So todays healthy lifestyle habit tip: If you're big, enjoy the legs that go along with that build.  If you're short and stocky enjoy the legs that go along with that build.  And, if you're long and skinny then that has its own legs too.  The main point is when your legs are balanced with your body, they're beautiful.  It really is the balance of the body parts that creates a beautiful body...its got nothing to do with being a certain body type. So, I suggest you proudly claim your build and start making the most of that build instead of wasting time and energy wishing you were someone elses body type, and bashing your own body type.

So, having said all of that let me offer up that no matter which build you are, if you want the most fantastic legs, then you must add in squats and lunges to your workout routine.  I've added a video of me doing lunges.
